If I seem depressed...

I did NOT have a good weekend. I came back to my house on Sunday to find that my well-hid grill was stolen out of my yard. Yes, the new grill I just bought with my friend Jim especially for the July 4th cookout. I'm not sure if I'm angrier about the lost money or the fact that I have no faith in humanity at this point. I'm sad and angry and sad. I had to spend a good chunk of my day talking to the police and waiting for a call back from them. Officer Scott, whom I reported the theft to, was extremely empathetic and made me feel a little bit better. He said that the biggest thefts in Gainesville were basically grills, bicycles and lawn furniture and that unfortunately people make it their "career" to go into people's yards and steal stuff like that from them.
