A Reflection

Everyone, I'm sure, has their own way of giving remembrance to 9-11. Today, I decided to walk to the corner of University and 13th Street, American flag in tow. I didn't pull it out for fear of being to jingoistic, but was ready to just in case any of the typical anti-war protestors decided to show up. Fortunately, they did not and so I sat at the corner as 8:46am approached.

As the official moment of silence came and went, the skies became a little darker, the faces of people driving by became a bit sadder. At least, it seemed that way to me.
