Email Response From Jeremy Foley, UF Athletic Director

Morning, all. Yesterday, I was checking the message boards and sports websites to see if the ACC had submitted some statement regarding their pitiful officiating performance in the UF/FSU game. Would you believe that they have yet to respond to criticism after over a week? Late last week, I emailed the ACC to see what the deal was and got a pat, automated reply.

Out of frustration on Sunday, I emailed Pat Dooley, our local sports journalist and CC'ed the message to Jeremy Foley, the UF athletic director. Foley emailed me back.

Do you think we'll ever get an official statement from the ACC regarding their terrible performance during the Florida/Florida State game? Haven't they had enough time to 'review the tape'?

Jeremy Foley's response: "I expect to know something this week as to what they are going to say or not say. I am on top of it trust me."

Well, I have to admit that I'm impressed that he responded so quickly. Didn't expect it. I'm also happy that he's still concerned with this and not letting it go.
