Aubrey de Grey is a researcher out of the UK that has proposed an Institute for Biomedical Gerontology. In essence, he believes that technology is advancing at such a rate that if the proper attention was given that science could eventually "cure" aging. Using the analogy of a car, he claims that with cell rejuvination techniques, you could prevent the cellular effects of aging just as car maintenance prevents car degredation and rust.
